We are excited for summer pool season to kick off tomorrow, May 13 at 10:00am! We look forward to seeing our returning lifeguards and diner staff along with several new faces this season. Barbara Owens will return for her fourth season as our Pool Manager. They will be on deck to greet you as you check in to the pool. Please remember to upload your pictures in to the eSOFT software system so they can get to know you by name and face.
The Dolphin Diner will be open during the pool hours. Only cold items will be served 30 minutes prior to closing. We will have a new grill located by the pool pavilion available for member use this summer. Please remember that it is member’s responsibility to clean the grill and make sure the grill is turned off once you are finished grilling. If the gas tank needs to be replaced, please notify the manager on duty. Please note that only one grill is available for member use. The flat top grills are for Dolphin Diner staff. It is also important to remember FISH and SEAFOOD may NOT be cooked on the grills. This is for the safety of members with seafood allergies.
A few important pool rules to remember. NO GLASS. This includes ceramic mugs, casserole dishes, glass inserts, swim masks, baby jars. Glass is not permitted on the Windyrush grounds, this includes the tennis facilities. Smoking on any type of device is not allowed. We are a smoke free and glass free Club. Please remember to bring your koozies for your canned drinks.
Sitting along the side of the pool? Please remember our youngest members need to safely access getting in and out of the pool. They will need access to the shallow end entry steps and the pool bench (in the water). You will notice an area marked off with green tape in an L shape where sitting is not permitted.
A guest may visit no more than ten (10) times per pool season. Every guest must check in at the front desk and register with their host member present along with paying the guest fee. Guest fees are $5 per person, $10 per person on holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day). Check in attendant will keep track of how many visits that visitor has had for the season. Once the visits are used up, the visitor may not visit the pool again until the following season.
Out of town guest must show identification showing their place of residence. An out-of-town guest is someone who lives approximately fifty miles or more away. We do not charge a fee for our of town guests except for holiday. On holidays the guest fee is $10 per person.
