We would like to thank everyone for a fun, safe and successful pool season! We are appreciative of our staff; Club Manger, Phyllis Smith, Pool Manager, Barbara Owens, lifeguards, Dolphin Diner staff, Tennis Director John Trimp and our Tennis Camp Leader/Junior Clinic Director, Heidi Witzel. Our social directors Tommy Cary and Caroline Byrnes planned several fun events with more upcoming events planned for this fall.
Please mark your calendars for this year’s Annual Membership Meeting. The meeting will be held on Sunday, November 12 at 7:00pm at Good Shepherd Church located at 3307 Rea Road. At this meeting, the membership will be electing 5 board members. Members have 1 vote per family. The positions up for re-election this year are Vice President, Treasurer and three at-large positions (children’s socials, ladies tennis representative and pool/grounds). Current Board Member Philip Prince is running for Vice President, current Board Member Joni Smith is running for at-large ladies tennis representative, current Board Member Caroline Byrnes is running for children’s social representative. At-large pool/grounds is an open position.
Even though we have members willing to serve in the above positions, if you or someone you know is interested in serving on the board, please send your name or your friend’s name to Phyllis Smith at [email protected]. Board members will serve a two-year term, attend monthly meetings, and have a membership dues benefit after serving one year.
A nominating committee made up of the Board President, Secretary, Club Manager and two members will be reviewing all nominations and presenting the names for election to the membership at the upcoming Annual Membership Meeting. A Board candidate newsletter will be emailed soon to provide more details about all nominees.
While the pool is closed for the season the pool pavilion is available Monday-Saturday for member private party rentals. The fee is $150 plus a refundable $50 deposit. Members will be invoiced $200 for the party. Once staff checks the pavilion after the event the $50 deposit will be refunded as long as the pavilion is clean and properly locked after the rental. The pavilion will be open on Sundays for members to enjoy Panther televised football games.
To make a reservation click on the eSoft link eSoft Planner. Instructions for reservations are attached. If you have forgotten your password, click on forgot password and follow the prompts. Please see the attached Pool Pavilion Rental Form and rental instructions. Once a reservation is made a rental fee invoice will be sent along with the gate code and tv lock box code. Annual invoices will be emailed November 1 with payment due by March 1, 2024. If you do not plan on renewing your membership for the 2024 season, please contact Phyllis Smith at [email protected].
Full membership dues for the coming year are $995.00 and payable by March 1, 2024. You may receive an early payment discount of $50 if payment is received by January 1, 2024, making the amount due $945.00.
Tennis membership dues for the coming year are $650.00 and payable by March 1, 2024. You may receive an early payment discount of $30 if payment is received by January 1, 2024, making the amount due $620.00.
Senior membership dues for the coming year are $497.50 (for senior age members who have been a club member for 15 years or more).
The initiation fee for new members is $3,000.00. We will continue to offer the option to pay a partial initiation fee payment of $2,500.00 upon joining, one year later the balance of $500.00 is due. Future applicants will pay a $250.00 non-refundable application fee to be added to the waiting list. The application fee will be applied to their membership dues once membership space is available.

Job description: Primary job is to oversee the overall upkeep of all tennis courts and the tennis pavilion.

Guests must be accompanied by a member. Guest fees are $5.00 per guest. Please leave your guest fee payments in the box on the clay court entrance marked “Guest Fees” or scan the QR Code for PayPal payments.

Interested in having your business advertised on a banner or in the newsletter? Run an ad in the newsletter for $25.00 per month or have a banner displayed on the tennis fence for $50.00 per month or advertise for several months. Advance payment for 5 months will include one month free, get 6 months for the cost of 5 months. Advanced payment for 9 months will include three months free, get 12 months for the cost of 9. Banner size requirement size is 8'x3' with a white background. Banner must be preapproved by the Board.
