When giving tours to prospective members and even greeting our newest members, he encourages if not challenges families to truly understand the value of Windyrush, you have to take advantage of all that we offer. Mark insists that there is no other club that offers as much as Windyrush does. From holiday events, to bike parades, adult socials, kid friendly events, end of year school celebrations, tennis only socials, beer and wine tastings, Halloween parties and costume contests, movie nights, grills and guitars and even crazy fun rock concerts. Our DJ alone is the coolest one in Charlotte on events like July 4th and Labor Day and our social committee plan seemingly endless fun activities and entertainment at the pool! Mark has been over pool and ground operations at Windyrush for several years now and takes a lot of pride in working with Phyllis Smith our Club Manager in keeping the pool as clean, safe and maintained as best possible with the budget we have to work with. Said Mark, “it takes a lot of hours each week in keeping the pool and grounds up and running so we are already planning even more improvements to our facility for next season including expanded seating and freshening up our amazing new pool house and features so that it will be in tip top shape come mid-May opening day”. |
