The pool will close for the season on Sunday, September 29. Our Labor Day event was enjoyed by many. It was a great day to celebrate with beautiful weather on the courts and at the pool. DJ Jeremy provided great music and fun games, Goldfinger’s food truck and the Dolphin Diner outdid themselves plus we had a special guest appearance from Lucha Libre Charlotte!
As fall approaches and the pool season comes to an end we are grateful for another safe, fun filled summer. We would like to extend our appreciation to our pool management company, for the lifeguard staff they provided us with. We would also like to thank our snack bar manager, Teresa Hollmeyer, snack bar employees, Trimp Tennis and our tennis camp leader, Heidi Witzel. Tennis camp was a big success this summer with record summer camp turnout! The celebration of our 50 year anniversary and the wonderful renovation to the pool house made the 2019 season enjoyable for all of our Windyrush families! Our social Board directors Dave McDonald and Kelli Green planned a busy summer for us with more to come this fall!
